Sherri O. had a delightful conversation with Bracha Goetz, a Harvard-educated author of over 40 children's books. Bracha, her son, and daughter-in-law run The Goetz Bookshop and Publishing House which specializes in children's books. Sherri O. (who herself has written a children’s book entitled I’m a Different Butterfly) and Bracha talk about the fundamentals of writing books for young children and where Bracha’s inspiration comes from… As a Jewish woman, she writes books she wished she had growing up, showing characters that represent her. They also chatted about Bracha’s most recent book, for adults, called Nourish the Soul, a raw and candid memoir of her as an observant Jew who learned how to overcome food addiction joyfully.
